• Early training under   Dr. R.N. Sreelatha at Mysore.
• Upon father Shri. S.V. Prasanna's shifting to Chennai, underwent training from Smt. Shyamala Venkateshwaran.
• Fortunate to be taken as her disciple by      Smt. Bombay Jayashri Ramnath for the last 5 years, who exposed me to stage performance, accompanying her on the Tambura in many concerts and graciously permitting me sing along with her in some concerts.
